On parade nights we annually have visits to the local police station and fire station. We get to have a look around their premises and see the equipment and sometimes get to have a go with it ourselves, this gives us an idea how they train and how they go about their good work.

Occasionally we take a trip to local museums to have a look around the exhibits and to further our understanding of aviation history and of the principles of flight. These usually turn out to be a very good day out. These visits normally have a small cost attached but are well worth it as you gain much from them.
