158 Squadron was established in 1939 under the 'new' Air Defence Cadet Corps which would later become the Air Training Corps we know today. We recently celebrated our 70th Anniversary, for this we had a Squadron parade and hosted an open day for the public.
We are located in the heart of Braintree and have local green spaces which we use for training, providing a range of exciting opportunities for young people aged between 13 and 18 in the district.
We are made up of around forty cadets, which are split into three flights (A, B and C) and a dedicated team of seven staff members that all hold varying roles within the unit.
We parade Monday and Friday evenings between 1900 and 2130.
