The Air Training Corps is the largest awarding body of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DEA) and this is being further enforced by the Corps providing the resources for every cadet to achieve at least their Bronze Award.
This year we took part in a Bronze expedition in Cheddar Gorge, along with a few other squadrons in Essex. Along with the expedition there was pot-holing and climbing, Corporal Hallet was on that trip:
'I found my DEA trip to Cheddar a great experience which I thoroughly enjoyed and it was good to know that I will get a recognised award.'
There are 3 stages of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award; Bronze, Silver and Gold. We provide all 3 and at the fraction of the cost that the schools ask you for, plus most of your award can be fulfilled by your regular squadron attendance and the regular activities that we offer.
