The Cadet Rank Structure

As a Cadet you have the opportunity to earn rank and take on more responsibility. The following is the cadet ranks structure:

                            

     Corporal               Sergeant          Flight Sergeant

 

If you are a cadet but aged 18 or over, you are differentiated by the extra title of Instructor Cadet.

The Adult Staff NCO Rank Structure

Adult Staff who are uniformed and non-commissioned follow the below rank structure:

                             

Adult Sergeant   Adult Flight Sergeant  Warrant Officer

 

Adult Staff who are uniformed and are commissioned as officers in the RAF Volunteer Reserve Training Branch VR (T) follow the below rank structure:

                                   

   Officer Cadet                Pilot Officer                   Flying Officer

                                  

 Flight Lieutenant          Squadron Leader            Wing Commander
